Michael C. Roberts is a psychology professor published extensively in scientific journals and books. Now retired and living in Arizona (but not playing golf), he seeks to be creative, placing numerous photographs and a few written pieces in literary magazines. He makes photographs in both film and digital formats. He has a fixation on the imaginative effects produced by cheap plastic film cameras (i.e., Diana, Holga, and La Sardina), which often create dreamy impressionist effects, allow for double exposures in the cameras, scratch the negatives, and have light leaks.
